Life gets crazy. Blogging moms slack in their blogging. Especially when kids get chicken pox &/or Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus & end up missing a MONTH of school! Thank goodness for a medical family & nurse/Grandma Ruth who could help out.
Life is considerably more normal these days (if holidays can be considered normal).
Silas is obsessed with superheroes. When he grows up he is going to be a scientist-superhero-daddy. Right now he's settling for being an awesome big brother.
Amalie's language has completely exploded over the past week (or two?). I don't even know how many words she has in her lexicon... At least 50.

Today when I came home Amalie & Silas were playing with play doh. When Amalie saw me she jumped up & said:
Mommy! I'm playing play doh!
Blew me away!
